The object of the ASNZ is "to promote the science and practice of acoustics in all its branches".

One of the best ways we can do this is to support our members who wish to attend acoustic symposia – particularly if they are presenting a paper on research they have conducted. 

 

ASNZ has established a fund of up to $5,000 NZD per annum, to be allocated by the ASNZ Council.

 

It is available to all who hold an ASNZ membership (Members, Affiliates and Fellows), but preference will be given to student applications, and those living full-time in New Zealand.  The fund is intended as a contribution towards conference costs, rather than paying them in full.

The amount for each application will be capped as follows:

• $500 NZD towards attendance at the ASNZ conference​

• Note that if a successful applicant does not attend the conference in due course, any funds received are to be repaid to the ASNZ.

• 15 May deadline - applications must be submitted via the form below by this date

• Recipients will be announced by 30 May
